KAYAK ON THE HIGHEST NAVIGABLE LAKE,
HALF DAY TRIP
At 8:40 a.m. Pick you up from your hotel and transfer to the port of Steve’s Island on the Lake Titicaca.
About 9:00 a.m. our professional guide and specializing in adventure tourism, give us all the instructions and appropriate safety equipment for this Trip, Then we start paddling on the Lake Titicaca, (1 1/2 -hour trip by Kayak).
Along the way, we will see , flora and wildlife. Arriving at the floating Island of the Uros, Our guide will explain about their history of its inhabitants, technical constructions of its islands – based aquatic plant cattails and its main activities. 11:30 am.Aprox. Then we left with destination to Puno and transferred to hotels in the Puno city.
If you desire, after your trip by Kayak to Uros Floating Island, on the Lake Titicaca, you can continue your trip to Taquile Island or Amanatani Island.

Leaving from Llachon a half – day option is available which takes you paddling along the shoreline to reach the point of the Capachica Peninsula, with underwater views of the shore-line –its rocks, algae and miniature marine life as well as views of local households and small docks. On return we will have a typical lunch waiting for us before continuing your program.
ONE-DAY TRIP
ROUTE: Start point from LLACHON in Capachica destination Amantani or Taquile island
Duration: 6 hours paddling round-trip, 2 hours walking

Llachon can be reached by boat from Puno or by two-hour road-trip from Puno. Leaving any day from the local dock located on the shores of Lake Titicaca in the community of Llachon, we set out with a guide to the Island of your choice Amantani or Taquile.
Once in the water you will marvel at the clarity of the lake, with views of the crystal blue-green waters as we paddle along the shore and out to the island of Taquile or Amantani – a unique sensation. We arrive at either island; you have a chance to walk around the village and the terraced landscape. A typical lunch on the shores of the lake before we paddle back to shore gives you plenty of photo opportunities.
A SHORT ESCAPE 2 DAYS 1 NIGHT
ROUTE: Start point from LLACHON in Capachica Amantani overnight

DAY 1
Once we reach the embarkation point in Llachon, we have a briefing and receive the appropriate safety equipment. The group embarks on the three to four-hour sea-kayak adventures. Padding first along the coast of the peninsula we leave the point after an hour and cross the lake towards the island of Taquile. On arrival we disembark, store our kayaks on shore and spend the rest of the day after lunch exploring the island, overnight at a rural home overlooking the lake with beautiful views of the Cordillera Real. (There is also an option to return to Llachon and spend the night there)
DAY 2
We proceed to explore the coastline of the island by kayak and then head across the open water again returning to our starting point. Hopefully with the prevailing wind behind us we will complete this leg of the journey faster. On arrival, lunch at Llachon before returning to the mainland from the peninsula (transportation not included**).

WHAT ESSENTIALS SHOULD I BRING?
It is recommended to bring your sunglasses, sunscreen with high SPF,
moisturizing cream, bathing suit (just in case water is cold in the lake!), a hat, warm and comfortable clothes for night and dawn hours, cotton T-shirts during daytime, hand sanitizer and camera.
